Uniroid-HC contains cinchocaine and hydrochloride, both of which are active ingredients. The Uniroid-HC ointment contains 0.5% of cinchocaine and hydrochloride and 0.5% of hydrocortisone. The Uniroid-HC suppositories, on the other hand, contain 5 mg of cinchocaine and hydrochloride and 5 mg of hydrocortisone. Both products can be used to treat external and internal piles. The ingredient hydrocortisone contains anti-inflammatory properties that help decrease the swelling. The ingredient cinchocaine acts as a local anaesthetic, which relieves the patient from discomfort and pain.
How do I take Uniroid HC?
Because this is an application treatment, make sure to wash your hands and keep the infected area clean and dry. It is highly advisable to use Uniroid-HC two times a day and to apply it after each bowel movement. The frequency of its usage applies to both the ointment and suppository medications. This treatment, both the ointment and suppository, must not be used for more than 7 days.
