Here are answers to some frequently asked questions (FAQ) we are emailed about our loxdoc website. If you have a question that has not been answered here, please contact us.

What is Loxdoc?

Loxdoc acts as an intermediary party in the sale of products and provision of services that are supplied and sold by pharmacies and doctors directly to you. Loxdoc does not work or deal directly with the pharmacies and doctors.

How do I place an order?

Loxdoc has a range of information on conditions and prescription medications. Find the one you are looking for and click ‘Buy Now’ – this will take you through to a secure consultation process provided by Hexpress Ltd, where you can complete a free online consultation with a doctor. Each consultation includes general questions about your health as well as specific questions related to your condition. The doctors can use this information to diagnose your medication and assess whether the treatment you have selected is the right choice for you.

Your consultation will be sent directly to Hexpress Ltd. It will then be reviewed by a doctor. If you are suitable for your chosen treatment, they will issue a prescription. This prescription will then be forwarded to the chemist, which will prepare your medication and dispatch it using a courier service.

When do you take payment?

We do not take any payments through Loxdoc. All payments are made through Hexpress Ltd. Payment is only taken once the doctor has approved your order. If they decline your request for medication, you will not be charged.

How do I know if the order has been successful?

After you have placed your order, you receive an e-mail from Hexpress Ltd with your order details. This e-mail also contains a unique link and if you click on this link, you can see the status of your order in their system. You can see whether a doctor has approved it, whether the chemist has dispatched the package, and tracktrace will tell you where your package is in the distribution process. This does not apply to all dispatches, as some international postal systems do not use tracktrace codes.

How long until the medications arrives?

In most cases, the complete service takes less than 24 hours: orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday will be sent to a doctor the same day. The doctor will try to assess your request and write a prescription, which will be forwarded immediately to a pharmacy who dispatches the medication for next day delivery using Royal Mail or UPS Express Delivery.

Please note: if you pay by bank transfer it will take 9 days to complete payment.

How is my medication sent to me?

Your order will be processed discreetly by a licensed pharmacy, then delivered using a courier service. For privacy reasons you will need to sign for the package, although you have the option to leave alternate instructions if you prefer. It will be sent in neutral packaging, without any logos, to ensure total privacy and discretion.

What are the payment methods?

You can pay by bank transfer or credit card; Visa and MasterCard. If you pay by credit card, your payment is made immediately and your request is passed on to the doctor straightaway. A bank transfer can take up to 9 days to process.

Are there any hidden costs?

No, there are no hidden costs. The total price includes: cost of medication, doctor’s prescription, pharmacist’s service, postage and handling.

Step 1 of the ordering process breaks down the price, which is what you will be charged on the credit card or invoicing organisation.

How do I know the medication is real?

All the medication that is shown on Loxdoc comes from renowned pharmaceutical companies. The medication is supplied by the chemist in its original packaging with the original package leaflet from the manufacturer. Loxdoc uses Hexpress Ltd to maintain strict controls on fake medication in order to guarantee the best quality. If you are not sure, please contact Hexpress Ltd or call the manufacturer who will be able to use the barcode to confirm that the medication is genuine.
